Hi "One-Heart Community Drum" Folks!,
Really wonderful drumming event last Saturday, in Stewart Park, (where we celebrated the birthdays of Chickie and myself (Steve).) A very good turnout, and superb drumming and great socializing. Thanks to all that attended, and thanks to those that brought food, and gifts, (the latter which was not expected but greatly appreciated).

This weekend, we will NOT be at Stewart Park, but at two other special events. (See below):

Upcoming drumming:

Friday, August 13th, 6-8P.M. Kurt Hohmann will lead drumming at First Universalist Church in Central  Square, NY, (20 miles north of Syracuse.) (Corner of Rte 49 and Rte 11.)  Bring your friendsl, zills, rattles and dancing feet. All are welcome.

'One-Heart Community Drum' will be leading an open community drum circle as part of this festival this year. It is a nice location, and good event. Should be a lot of fun! Hope you can make it to support our first drumming activity at this particular event. Thanks!

Saturday, August 14th, late afternoon until early Sunday AM. Thirteenth Anniversary Celebration for Matt and Camilla Johnson, to include live music, ('Native Earthling Band'), as well as an open drum circle. Food is provided, but potluck as well is encouraged. This is always a great event, with a bon fire, large three acre pond for swimming, etc. Try to attend if possible.

Steve's Note: This will be in lieu of our regular Saturday drum circle at Stewart Park, as the meal will occur earlier than the circle. Bring some food to share if able. Thanks!
Directions: Take Rte 13 South, to junction Rte 34/96 South, bearing left onto 34/96. Go 4.5 miles to VanBusKirk Gulf Rd, turning right onto it. Go 1/4 mile to Tupper Rd, turning left onto Tupper Rd. Go approx 3 miles to the top of Tupper Hill, turning left onto Seeley Hill Rd. Go 1/3 mile to Beech Hill Rd, turning left onto it. Go approx 1 mile, passing Beech Rd on the left, approx 100 yeards past Beech Rd, is a 90 degree right hand curve in the road. At the beginning of this curve, a drive way goes off to the left-front, into Beech Hill Pond Community. Park either along the road, (not in the curve), or off the driveway into the community. A path to the left of the entrance of the driveway, leads to the pond and the picnic and drumming area, about 200 feet up the path.

Saturday and Sunday, August 28th and 29th, MUSE Festival, Willseyville, NY. Local bands, and open drum circle, with bon fire all night Saturday. More details as they become available.
Steve's Note: The musefest.org website is NOT up and running, so we'll need to rely on word of mouth.
