Hi "One-Heart Community Drum" Folks!,
    Great drum circle last Saturday!  Thanks to everyone that contributed to the great energy and rhythms.  This weekend is the Beer Festival at Stewart Park, so there will be a lot of traffic. We'll be out of the way, in our usual spot. See you then! Love, Steve

Upcoming drumming:

    Saturday, September 4th, 4P.M., Open community drum circle, Stewart Park, NW corner, (south end of Cayuga Lake), Ithaca, NY. Extra drums available, potluck optional, children welcomed.

    Monday, September 6th, 1P.M. Labor Day drum, and Potluck, Stewart Park, NW corner, (south end of Cayuga Lake), Ithaca, NY. Special end of summer family gathering, with shared food, barbecue, and drumming! Extra drums available.
   
    Saturday, Sept 11th, 4P.M. Open community drum circle. Stewart Park, NW corner, (south end of Cayuga Lake), Ithaca, NY. Steve will be in NYC attending a 9/11 Truth event, so will not be providing extra drums, so be sure to bring yours! Potluck optional, children welcomed.

    Saturday, September 18th, 2010, 2nd annual EARTHDANCE FESTIVAL FOR PEACE. Location - Sheela Kingsbury's Tea Garden at 133 Jersey Hill Road, just off West King Road in Danby. <teagardenithaca.com>. Rain or shine.
    Directions: From Ithaca: 96B South, past Ithaca College to stop light at W. King Rd. & Upper Buttermilk Falls sign. Turn right, travel 3.1 miles until Jersey Hill Rd. Turn right on Jersey Hill and go 1000 ft Blue mailbox, Tea Garden sign & 700ft. driveway on the left.
    One Heart Community Drummers, Congo Square, Vitamin L and the Level Green Institute invite you to join with hundreds of thousands around the world for a time-synchronized, family-friendly celebration from 5:00-11:00 pm on Saturday, September 18th, honoring the 2010 theme of Embracing All Traditions.
    Event Schedule:
     4:30 pm (and Ongoing!) One Heart Community Drummers of Ithaca, NY will be Facilitating their Open Community Drum and Dance Circle at the firepit, bring your drums and dance for peace, love and harmony.
     5:00 pm:  the Dances of Universal Peace
     5:45 pm:  music from Ayurveda
     7 pm:     the GLOBAL MOMENT, followed by blessing for the foundations of the Tea Garden's new Peace Garden [everyone invited to add their stones to those blessed by the Dalai Llama]
     7:30 pm   Vitamin L Chorus
     7:45 pm   Pranadhanas
     8:30 pm:  Dance the night away with Thousands of One
    
    The gathering is free and open to the public - but we humbly request a donation of $10/person, $15/family, to support next year's event. Refreshments available.
